Program Details
Film Masters is a once a week, after school program.
Dedicating one hour per day across an 8 week session.
(the specific meeting day varies upon school hosting)
Once the session begins, Students will immediately enter in
- 2 weeks of Planning
- 4 weeks of Filming
- 2 weeks of Editing
To ensure they have the right amount of time to produce their final projects
Depending on the amount of students, they will either work in one or multiple groups and choose dedicated roles to participate in such as:
- Camera Operator
- Actor
- Director
- Production design
- Editor
- Sound
Student-made Projects
As a part of the curriculum and experience of the program, students will be consistently working on various projects in which they will engage in the three defining forms of video/film production: Narrative, Short Form, and Documentary.
Talent

Film Masters projects are opportunities to showcase not just camerawork but any form of talent and art! Your student can learn how to act in front of a camera, design sets and props, or even show off your make up and hair skills because film is the art that uses all arts.

Equipment
No need for expensive cameras, heavy lighting equipment, and giant sets
Film Masters builds students in understanding fundamental techniques that can be used on anything they own. Whether that's a phone, tablet, or small video camera, students will already have what they need in order to dive into filmmaking.

At the end of every session, students will have their amazing work shown to their school alongside opportunities to submit their work across various local Film Festivals and Competitions
