Film Masters
FilmMasters, an innovative after-school program designed to inspire and equip students with the skills to create their own films and digital content. As schools continue to seek new ways to engage students and foster creativity, FilmMasters offers a dynamic opportunity for students to explore filmmaking while developing critical skills in storytelling, teamwork, and digital media.

Our story
Gabe Constante has always been a student of filmmaking, from his time in Summit High School’s TV production program to attending Biola’s School of Cinema and Media Arts. Looking back, he wishes there had been a program to help him grow in the field even earlier. That realization deepened after teaching film classes at multiple elementary and middle schools, where he saw firsthand how young students naturally excel in planning, filming, and editing. Their creativity and technical ability proved that filmmaking doesn’t need to start in college—it can begin much earlier.
As the landscape of content creation continues to evolve, more kids dream of becoming online creators and filmmakers. Gabe saw the need to provide an opportunity for young creatives to explore their passion in a practical, hands-on way. Along the way, other filmmakers who share the same vision have joined to help build this program, ensuring that students receive mentorship and guidance from experienced professionals.

Mission
Rather than waiting for Hollywood, today’s independent creators are thriving, proving that great storytelling doesn’t have to rely on corporate-driven productions. The best way to minimize the influence of profit-driven studios is to maximize the number of filmmakers who genuinely care about storytelling—starting with building strong creative habits from a young age.
This program was created to equip the next generation of filmmakers with the skills, experience, and confidence to tell their stories in an industry that is constantly changing.
